Connor Eberly

Connor was born and raised in Western Maryland in the city of Frostburg. He grew up playing sports including basketball, baseball, soccer, running track, and also competing in triathlons and other endurance races. He graduated from Mountain Ridge High School in 2012 after winning two State Championships in Soccer. For his first two years of college, Connor attended Potomac State College and was a part of the Soccer team for both years. After the two years at Potomac State College he attended Frostburg State University and played on the Soccer team there as well. Connor later returned to Potomac State College as a Goalkeeper coach for two years. Soon after graduating from Frostburg State University with a Bachelors degree in Law and Society and Political Science with a minor in Sociology, he married his wife Nikki in 2016. Connor and Nikki have served as leaders in the youth ministry at their church and also help lead a young adults bible study. Connor felt the call to missions after he returned from a mission trip his junior year in college. Not quite sure of where that would take him, the Lord has led him to serve with FCA as a Chaplain at Frostburg State University. Connor is excited for the opportunity to work with the athletes on campus during such an influential time in their lives. FCA has provided Connor with a unique opportunity to serve the Kingdom in his hometown. He believes in the vision of seeing the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Connor looks forward to getting the local churches involved with the ministry and expanding the impact of the ministry with the help of the whole body of Christ. One of his favorite verses is Acts 1:8- “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
